We have ambitions to become the de facto tech recycling comparison website. Data is provided free of charge for all users and recyclers - there are no plans to monetise the application as we get so much value ourselves from the data which powers our buying decisions.
By making it free we can compare many more recyclers than the traditional comparison model which runs off commision from selling leads. Every time you click one of the results on a traditional comparison website they are taking money from the sale - this leads to a reduction in the final payment to you, which we believe is an unnecessary margin. The data should be free.
